Stays in Bangalore

Bangalore (officially Bengaluru) is India's third largest city and the country's tech capital, known equally for its tree-lined neighbourhoods, pleasant year-round climate, and concentration of startups and global engineering offices. The city sits on the Deccan plateau at around 920 metres, which keeps daytime temperatures moderate through most of the year and makes it one of the few large Indian cities where air conditioning is genuinely optional. Stays here range from heritage bungalow conversions in the central districts to modern furnished apartments along the southern corridors where many of the city's IT campuses sit.

South Bangalore in particular has a quieter, more residential character than the central business district. Areas like JP Nagar, Banashankari, Anjanapura, Jambu Savari Dinne, and Gottigere sit along the leafier southern fringe of the city. They are well connected by the Namma Metro Green Line on Kanakapura Road and by Bannerghatta Road, and close to weekend escapes like Bannerghatta National Park, Turahalli Forest, and the Mysore highway. Most short stays in this part of the city work well for visiting families, business travellers heading to Electronic City via NICE Road, and travellers chaining a Bangalore stop with Mysore, Coorg, or Bandipur.

What guests usually appreciate about South Bangalore: independent residential pockets rather than dense commercial chaos, easier parking, neighbourhood bakeries and South Indian breakfast spots, and quick access to both the city centre (via metro) and the highway network heading south.
