Gottigere is a residential neighbourhood at the southern end of Bannerghatta Road in South Bangalore, close to Bannerghatta Biological Park, IIM Bangalore, and the Hulimavu area. It sits at the point where the city begins to give way to the forested fringe leading to Bannerghatta National Park, so the area has more open green spaces and tree cover than the inner stretches of Bannerghatta Road. Gottigere is also a planned terminus of the upcoming Namma Metro Pink Line, which will eventually connect it to the city centre.
